The living area is very spacious, and the lounge doors concertina away to give you a huge open plan area, as the kitchen and lounge spill out onto the balcony, all looking out onto the ocean.

The three bedrooms are all en-suite, and each is luxuriously appointed. Two rooms have queen-sized beds, and the third can be made up either as a king-sized bed or as two single beds.

The kitchen has everything you need, whether you just want a quick snack, or you want to produce a meal par excellence to entertain! There is also a barbecue available on the balcony, for some outdoor eating on those balmy summer nights.

Secure underground parking is provided for two cars. There is a full security system. This property is accessible by lift (or outdoor stairs) so there is no problem for elderly people.

Situated in Constantia, Cape Town, at the foot of the Constantia Mountains, in the heart of the old vineyards. En suite-bedrooms in large garden setting with sparkling salt water pool.
Constantia Manor is an up market thatched roofed guest house on a beautiful one acre garden in the heart of the old winelands. The thatch holds the heat in during the winter and will keep the rooms cool during the summer months.

Our location is ideal. Away from the noise and smell of the city bowl but still not more than 15 minutes from the Waterfront, 20 minutes from the Airport, 7 minutes from the Atlantic and Indian Ocean, Botanical gardens and surrounded by 25 golf courses.
In walking distance we have one of the most popular restaurants in Cape Town, and not further than 5 minutes drive we have most of the top restaurants as well. Our guest house is around the corner from Groot Constantia winefarm, the first winefarm of South Africa, not far from the famous Kirstenbosch botanical gardens, the largest botanical garden in the world, about 45 minutes from Cape Point, where the wind blows and 30 minutes from Boulders Beach, where you can stay in between the penguin colony on the beach. The wine routes to Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschoek are not further than 45 to 60 minutes from Constantia.

Trails for the more sporting guests can be started nearby and assistance in routes will be given by the owner.
All assistance in making bookings for Tours, reconfirming flights, advises for day trips will be given based on our own experience.

The thing that stands out most about Castleburn is that it doesn't stand out at all. Architecturally designed to blend into the landscape of the Southern Drakensberg, the resort's most prominent feature is the rocky pinnacles that surround it. With Lake Madingofani at its feet, Castleburn lures eland, reedbuck and around a hundred bird species to its peaceful surrounds.
